College students are invited to try a short curling league designed for students!
Come learn to curl on Wednesdays in February!! You'll learn the basics of delivery and sweeping, and soon you'll be ready to join a league... so join a league! Learn to play and participate in mid-week scrimmage matches throughout the month (until February 23). Now... how much would you be willing to pay for this?? maybe 150 or 200 bucks?
...wait, before you answer... there's more!! If you participate in one of the January Learn to Curl sessions (see here), we'll knock the base cost for you to be in the student league in HALF! Knowing that... NOW HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY?
Well, we got you covered... in total, the cost to you for both is just 80 bucks! ...i.e., $30 for the L2C and $50 for the student league! Alternatively, sign up for the student league for $100 total (sans the L2C).
This league is for college freshmen through seniors, and high school Juniors & Seniors are welcome to try out as well. Our hope is to establish and develop college club curling teams to help grow the sport.
Wear warm, comfortable clothing (avoid jeans), and carry in clean athletic shoes (no salt or dirt on the ice, please.) Sign up today!
